Spectacular harbour views surrounded by native bushland
Land’s Edge is one of Australia’s leading providers of outdoor education experiences for school students and organised groups.
This dynamic and progressive company provides programs that combine curriculum learning, adventure and personal growth – all informed by a sense of ‘place’.
Currently offering outdoor education programs in the Illawarra region, Murramarang and Kosciuszko National Parks, Land’s Edge has expanded to incorporate a Sydney Harbour outdoor education facility.
A sheltered cove of calm, clear waters with a rich aquatic habitat
From its base in the pristine marine environment of Chowder Bay - a maritime village of historical significance overlooking Sydney Harbour - the company’s programs reflect the cultural, physical and historical spirit of Sydney Harbour.
Land’s Edge utilises the Harbour’s waterways, foreshore and bushlands, including the Trust’s lands at Middle Head, North Head and Cockatoo Island.
The programs aim to reflect the philosophy of Sydney Harbour Federation Trust in its plan for the future of its Sydney Harbour foreshore lands. That is, to conserve, enhance and interpret the natural and cultural heritage of the lands, without emphasis on one aspect at the expense of the others
