In the Illawarra region of NSW Land’s Edge offers residential-style programming for young people across a variety of environments including Seven Mile Beach National Park, the Minnamurra Rainforest & River, Kiama Harbour, Bushrangers Bay Marine Reserve and Drawing Room Rocks. The Illawarra region is home to Land’s Edge NSW’s headquarters so all locations in this area are ones for which most Land’s Edge staff have an abiding affinity.
Accommodation
Groups undertaking Illawarra programming enjoy residential accommodation. Groups stay at Jamberoo Valley Lodge in the Jamberoo Valley and/or in Gerringong at Chittick Lodge/Gerringong Conference Centre.
Transportation
Land’s Edge can arrange all transportation for Illawarra programming as required. Land’s Edge arranges any National Park passes required.
Catering
Land’s Edge and its accommodation providers cover all catering and dietary requirements for programs in this location. Land’s Edge adheres to the Australia & New Zealand Food Standards Code, meeting, in particular, Standards 3.2.2 (Food Safety Practices & General Requirements) and Standard 3.2.3 (Food Premises & Equipment).
Equipment
Land’s Edge provides all equipment required for programming including snorkelling, surfing and canoeing equipment etc. Alternatively, groups can provide what equipment they can access and Land’s Edge can supplement required items. |
