Children are accommodated in a newly refurbished foreshore dormitory-style building with stunning views across Sydney Harbour to the Heads.
Overseeing the management of these camps is Michele Naughton, who joined Land’s Edge after a long career working across the public, independent and Catholic school sector – most recently as Deputy Principal of Monte Sant’ Angelo College in North Sydney.
“I have a strong background working with young people in schools but I really look forward to school holidays periods relaxing on Sydney Harbour with the lucky ones who join us for the camps,” Michele said.
“It’s the dream of every working parent to have their child fully supervised, cared about and catered for during their school holidays; our camps combine fully qualified instructors in a safe, supportive environment where youngsters can engage in novel activities, challenge themselves, meet new friends and have plenty of fun," she added.
“The only way to make these camps better is to make them longer.” Tessa, Aged 10
“Lands Edge was a brilliant experience for my daughters, who loved all the activities, from sailing on Sydney Harbour, to bushwalking, to snorkelling. The four-day/three-night residential program was the perfect amount of time to gain independence and really grow from the experience. The accommodation was very comfortable and the girls loved the food. Sleeping in bunk beds and staying up late chatting were additional highlights. The instructors were all wonderful with the kids. And what a location! Talk about lucky children to spend their holiday on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour! We look forward to coming back to Sydney for another Land’s Edge holiday.”
