Stage 4 Landscapes & Landforms
A study of how geomorphic processes, human activities and cultural knowledge systems shape and value landscapes within Sydney Harbour.

Stage 5 Environmental Change & Management
A study investigating the impacts of plastics on our marine environments through data collection, travelling to two coastal sites by kayak on Sydney Harbour.

Stage 6 Ecosystems & Global Biodiversity
A hands-on investigation exploring Sydney Harbour sea urchin and kelp forest ecosystem collecting data while snorkeling in the harbour.

Equipment
Saltwater School provides all necessary equipment for each study, including snorkel and kayak equipment, fieldwork booklets, survey materials, risk assessments and safety management plans.
Full Day Programs
Our Curriculum Based Field Studies (CBFS) programs are offered on weekdays during school term. These studies are designed to be full-day programs and can be arranged as a single day excursion or as part of a larger multi-day outdoor education program.
